Michael Jackson’s ex-wife Debbie Rowe will attend a custody hearing for Michael Jackson’s two oldest children, 11-year-old Paris and 12-year-old Prince Michael I.

“[Debbie] says that she will definitely be at the custody hearing,” said Marc Schaffel. Schaffel is a former business partner of Jackson and a close friend of Rowe.

The hearing to decide the temporary custody of the two children of the late king of pop has been set back from July 13 to July 20 and will take place in the Los Angeles Superior Court.

The children are staying with their grandmother, Katherine, at the family’s compound in Encino, California. Katherine Jackson was named as guardian of the two children and Jackson’s third child, Prince Michael II, known as Blanket. She is seeking custody of all three.

Rowe is the biological mother of the older two children. She has yet to make clear whether wants custody of them, but is said to be in talks with the Jackson clan to iron out an out-of-court deal.

Rowe was paid millions after she rescinded her custodial rights to her children in the wake of her divorce from Jackson. But in 2004 she renegotiated the terms of the settlement.
