Documents have been obtained stating that, as of 2007, the late King of Pop Michael Jackson had a net worth of $236.6 million, with less than $700,000 of that amount in cash. The financial report was assembled around the time that the singer had to refinance due to his large sums of debt and was “based in large part on estimates provided by Jackson’s advisers that the accounting firm said it could not verify.” The documents don’t include any report of the incoming funds of that year or how much he was spending though. That should give all of us a glimpse of the mess that the family has to deal with when it comes to Michael’s estate.
