The new romance between screen beauty Kate Hudson and baseball superstar Alex Rodriguez is reportedly hotting up.
The new couple was spotted getting cosy last month at a New York restaurant.
And a source has now confirmed to People magazine that they’re officially dating.
Fool’s Gold star Hudson, who recently split from on-off boyfriend Owen Wilson, is said to have impressed A-Rod’s friends at a recent dinner.
“It’s somewhat serious,” said the insider. “He introduced her to a bunch of his friends.”
Hudson, 30, who is mum to five-year-old Ryder, followed the New York Yankees player on the road last month to Dallas, where his team played the Texas Rangers.
The pair stayed at the same hotel and even worked out together in the gym.
