The rockers were supposed to perform in New York a few days ago, but they apparently had to postpone due to the fact that front man, Chris Martin, lost his voice and even burnt his arm due to some electrical issues. A statement on their website read as follows: “We’re sorry to report that Coldplay have been forced to postpone due to illness. They have asked us to apologize for the inconvenience but we are currently in the process of re-arranging the show for another date.” This is just too strange for school! Is this the no-singing week? It seems that everywhere you look a greater power is keeping singers from performing… so far Coldplay are the least affected of all.
