Mike Tyson’s daughter found hanging in ‘freak accident’
Mike Tyson’s daughter is in critical condition after accidentally hanging herself, according to US reports.
Exodus Tyson, the four-year-old daughter of the former heavyweight champion was found hanging from a cord on a treadmill by her seven-year-old brother in what has been described as a ‘freak accident’ in Phoenix on Monday afternoon.
It is believed her mother had to cut her down and perform CPR on her before paramedics arrived on the scene.
“Apparently she and her older brother were watching TV in the TV room,” said Phoenix police sergeant Andy Hill.
“There was also a number of pieces of exercise equipment, and somehow the little girl got herself on a piece of equipment and she ended up kind of choking herself.”
Police have revealed that Exodus was in an extremely critical condition at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Mike Tyson was reportedly not at the home at the time of the incident but was rushed to the hospital as soon as he heard the news.
