$40 Million home in New York for Madonna
Madonna is one of the biggest selling artists of all time and ‘Sticky & Sweet’ Summer Tour last year was a resounding success. She is also amongst the top 5 current selling artists, a list headed by Tina Turner.
She has now defied the global recession effects by buying a new home in New York at a staggering $40 million in New York’s posh Upper East Side. And she also proved to be a smart buyer by closing the deal for $5 million fewer than the market price for that property.
The mansion has a total 13 bedrooms to go with 14 bathrooms, a 3,000-square-foot garden, a two-car garage, 9 fireplaces, a wine cellar with a grotto and an elevator.
I think someone should go and check the financial accounts of this woman, she reportedly paid her ex-husband Guy Ritchie some 50-70 million dollar as part of their divorce settlement and Guy did not even ask for the money. Seems Madonna told herself if I cannot buy a baby I’d buy a new house instead.
