Madonna goes to the Circus – Britney Spears
Call it returning a favor or whatever but Material Girl Madonna herself showed up at Britney Spears’ concert tour in New York Wednesday night. Britney Spears did not only appear but did a short number in Madonna’s Los Angeles concert tour last November so Madonna must be returning the favor to the pop princess. This time though, Madonna opted to be just a spectator. Madonna, who came with her manager Guy Oseary and several other bodyguards, occupied the Nassau Coliseum VIP suite. However, she walked up using the main stairs so everybody would notice her. This was intentionally done since celebrities do not have to use the main stairs to get to the VIP suites.
So did Madonna enjoy the show? Probably not because she left just before Britney Spears could do her “Womanizer” encore. Madonna left the venue causing quite a stir as fans screamed all around her. Britney Spears however wrote on her website about how thrilled she was to have Madonna there during her concert.
