John Mayer attended the 2009 Oscars with his girlfriend Jennifer Aniston this past Sunday. The singer revealed on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show that he was very nervous before that. John also talked about how he doesn’t really fit in on the red carpet and on growing up a little. It was a bit funny that he admitted to being star struck and asking Jen to introduce him saying ““[I asked Jen,] ‘Will you please introduce me to so-and-so?’ It was really, really fun.” He also said why he and Jen decided to make the Oscars their first major public event together saying “At some point, you feel comfortable and say this is the choice I want to make. I think a year is a pretty good period of time with which to say, ‘Let’s go have a really good time at the Oscars!’”
