Ashlee Simpson and her hubby Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz have signed on to do cameos on ‘CSI:NY’. Are they cutting back on money too and couldn’t get more expensive and better actors? In the March 18 episode, the couple will be playing Bonnie and Clyde wannabes. I wonder which of them is the better actor. Ashlee and Pete aren’t the only musicians who made guest spots on the show. Back in 2007, Nelly Furtado played a shoplifter. Just this past week, Taylor Swift filmed her guest spot on ‘CSI’ playing a teenage girl whos family runs a seedy Las Vegas motel.
