John Mayer is set to shoot a variety show pilot for CBS and if it does well, it?s going to spawn a series of specials or a full series. It?s not going to be anything new for the musician as he?s already hosted one episode of VH1?s ?John Mayer has a TV show?. I?m not sure I really want to see a show that features John going on blabbing. It?s not like we don?t have enough of his blabbing on his blogs or when paparazzi catch up to him. What we really need is for someone to actually shut him up.
