Children’s Hospital is treated to a gig by John Mayer

Hey that?s really cool you know, John Mayer did his bit to spread holiday cheer. That when the played a private concert in New York at a children’s hospital. 95.5 WPLJ-FM organized the performance as part of the 17th Annual Holiday Concert at Blythedale Children’s Hospital in the Big Apple on Monday.

But he made an extended stay thereafter to sign autographs for ill kids at the event, and his efforts raised a cool $250,000 for the hospital. Now that?s what I would call star power and using it for the right cause and a the right time.

Those kids would be feeling a bit low if not miserable when the Christmas festivities in New York would be at its peak and at that time for one of their favorite star to come there especially for them and perform and sign autographs would make them feel so special.
