Anne Hathaway is headed to Broadway
For those who don?t know, Anne is actually is a very good singer!
Broadway World has just learned that a secret, closed door reading took place this weekend for the musical Promises, Promises.
Several big names in the Broadway world were in attendance and some big named actors as well.
And the reading just happened to be starring Sean Hayes and Anne Hathaway.
According to inside sources, their performance and singing impressed everyone this weekend. And they will likely bag the role because of their performance.
As for the musical, it is actually a comedy based on the film The Apartment by Billy Wilder. The original show ran on Broadway from 1968 until 1972 with a total of 1,281 performances. And it has never had a proper revival!
So if all goes well and the musical gets picked up, let’s hope Anne decides to join the cast.
She’d be great on Broadway!
