Dear Jay-Z
In the real world, people need to pay to get into clubs. I know you are used to get paid to PARTY. But times are hard and you might have to start paying to party – just like the rest of us.
With the economy floundering, many clubs in London can’t afford Jay-Z’s bloated appearance fee of $43,000. The hip-hop star is visiting across the pond to see the New Jersey Nets take on the Miami Heat at The O2 this weekend.
But, no one wants to pony up the cash, even if he’s lowered the fee to $13,000.
He might have to party on his own tab.
That has to suck.
