NY Gets Free Coldplay

Chris Martin and his band Coldplay performed at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Monday night. The New York event was the third of three free shows. The other two free shows were held in London and Barcelona. The shows were a result of the band giving away over 7,000 tickets through its website. The concert was enjoyed by a couple of celebrities which included Chris Rock, Charlize Theron, Stuart Townsend and Molly Sims. Coldplay also has a lot to celebrate about as they recently scored their first US number one single and have topped the US album chart. Congratulations!
