Sheryl Crow is Avril Lavigne
The name Sheryl Crow is usually attached to a big hit, sold out concerts and massive fame. Well, that’s in the past. The singer is currently on tour across America and it’s a big bomb. And by bomb, let’s just say Avril Lavigne sized. The ‘All I Wanna Do’ singer’s trek has sold so poorly that it’s embarrassing me to compare her to Avril. Like the Canadian, Sheryl is playing to mostly empty venues across the US. According to Boxscore, Sheryl performed at the Verizon Wireless Music Center in Pelham, Alabama on May 23. It holds 10,469 people but she only drew 2,973. She wasn’t even able to fill a small venue in New York which holds 5,500 people – she only managed to draw 3,489. Wasn’t it only a couple of summers ago that John Mayer was opening for her while she sold out big venues?
