Newlyweds Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon made their first public appearance together as a couple at Time?s ?100 Most Influential People in the World? gala at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City on Thursday. Mariah performed at the event. The couple was asked how it feels to be married to which Nick replied with ?It feels amazing. My cheeks hurt from smiling so hard. I?ve been smiling for days.? Mariah adds ?It?s comforting?and something I?ve never felt before. Which is really being in love and happy with someone who really understands me and isn?t trying to do anything but make me happy. It?s wonderful.?
