Lots of Love for American Idol Castoff

The most recent American Idol castoff, Michael Johns, may not have gotten much love last week but his fans gave him a heck of a lot of attention as he left ?Live with Regis and Kelly? on Monday. Michael was pretty shocked over his elimination last Friday saying ?I hadn?t been in the bottom three, and I thought the last two to three weeks have been my strongest. But we?re in the competition and stuff can happen.? While we?re sad to see him leave the talent search, his booting off has done his career some good. The 29-year old Aussie turned Atlanta resident has been contacted by the likes of Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban and even Dolly Parton, telling him just how sad they were to see him go.
