Wieners for American Idol?s Kristy Lee Cook

American Idol?s Kristy Lee Cook comes from Selma, Oregon ? a place with a population of less than 3,000. It turns out that a number of the residents can?t get the show at home so they make their way over to the local Country Folks Restaurant just to catch Kristy perform and chow down on dollar hot dogs. The eatery is, as expected, pro-Kristy, and is where family and friends attend to root for the hometown girl they watched perform at local fairs when she was younger. After Tuesday night?s performance and the following elimination, it?s clear that Kristy?s townsfolk have better access to telephones than cable TV.
