Britney Spears plans tour
Troubled pop princess Britney Spears is planning a world tour, just seven days after she was released from a secure psychiatric unit.
The Toxic singer was discharged from the UCLA Medical Centre in LA last Wednesday after spending a week in a padded room undergoing psychological assessment. Britney, 26, was rushed to the hospital for her own safety after flying into a ?psychotic? rage after three sleepless days bingeing on a cocktail of drugs and aimlessly driving round the city.
But mum-of-two Brit, who recently lost custody of her sons, Sean Preston, 4, and Jayden James, 2, to ex Kevin Federline, now seems keen to forget her latest woes and has vowed to do so by getting back on the road.
She will do a string of gigs around the world to promote her latest album Blackout in a desperate attempt to kickstart her stalling music career. An insider told the New York Post, “Britney will be leaving the country in the next few weeks, after training in privacy for a month. She is planning a global tour.”
