Charged Dropped Against Creed Frontman

Scott Stapp, lead singer of Creed, was looking at a nasty record if charged with felony assault. His wife Jaclyn Nesheiwat called cops in May, accusing him of taking drugs and throwing a bottle at her.
The felony count was eventually lessened to a misdemeanor, and now prosecutors say the charges have been officially dropped as of Monday. Stapp participated in a 12 hour anger management program, a substance abuse evaluation, and agreed not to possess any weapons.
Stapp, who fronted for Creed, is now launching a solo career. He and his wife, a former Miss New York USA, were married in February 2006. They have a baby daughter named Milan.
