John Mayer and Ricki Lake?!?!
What is this world coming to? Do you even remember who Ricki lake was, I mean, is? She was the thin one season, chunky the next, host of a talk show bearing her own name.
Apparently John Mayer knows who she is because sources say he spent Wednesday night at a Sunshine Sachs p.r. Christmas party cozied up to her. The two chatted it up, and he supposedly told her, “I’ve had a crush on you for two years.” Um, ok. Yeah, Ricki compares to Jess.
They were given some private area in the back of the place and exchanged numbers. Sources also say he was heating up the network, sending her text messages all night long, after she’d left the party and headed to the Rose Bar in NYC.
That’s one weird combination, if you ask me. But, oops, I don’t guess you asked, did you?
