Ingrid Marie Rivera, the winner of the Miss Puerto Rico pageant, previously claimed that someone tried to sabotage her during the pageant. She said that someone used pepper spray on her clothing.
Now, police want to know what’s up because they found no traces of the substances on her gown or other clothing, according to People magazine.
Because of this, police are now going to shift the investigation to decide if anyone involved in the whole shinanigan gave false statement to the authorities. That would be a felony offense and could mean Rivera is in for more than she bargained for.
