Princess Kidman?
In 1997 Princess Diana died in a car crash whilst being chased by the paparazzi. Yesterday, Nicole Kidman testified against photographer Jamie Fawcett, claiming that she feared for her life as Fawcett ?chased? her car through Sydney in 1995.
This evokes thought; is Miss Kidman a drama queen, making a big deal out of nothing claiming to be in as much danger as the late Princess Diana? Or are the paparazzi really out of control, posing a true threat to our celebrities of today?
Kidman?s driver claimed that the car behind them, being driven by celebrity snapper Fawcett, was behaving recklessly and out of control. It was then told that Kidman crouched in the back of the car, crying and fearful, until they reached her parents? house.
“I was frightened and I was worried about a car accident. I was really, really scared,” said the Oscar-winning actress.
Fawcett himself is a well known celebrity photographer, currently suing a newspaper in a defamation case.
Is it all a big celebrity circus or will we have another ?Diana death? on our hands one day soon?
