Clay Aiken Heads to Broadway

Broadway is about to be filled with thousands of Claymates.
Playbill is reporting that Clay Aiken is joining the Broadway cast of the Tony Award-winning musical Monty Python?s Spamalot in the role of Sir Robin. The American Idol alum will begin with the role on January 18, 2008 and will continue until May 4.
Director Mike Nichols spoke on Clay?s addition to the cast and said ?Clay Aiken is amazing beyond that glorious voice. Turns out he is an excellent comic actor and a master of character. This guy is not only a star, he is a lot more. We are lucky to get him for Spamalot.?
