Abandoning a career will do no good, if anyone think that carrying all the heavy equipment and the thousands to watts of light that is consumed in lighting up a venue for a concert and if you give up you are actually doing and favour then let me you the number of concerts per year need to come down by atleast a 100 concerts per year per developed country to have even a miniscule effect on saving energy and its environmental damage. You need to be a crusader and one who?s not going to give up on his/her believes no matter how bad the situation is, and then only can we ever think of a better more cleaner place to live in. Until then the emissions are just growing with every passing day and if just 1-2 rockers/bands are thinking of quitting to save the environment then man, that?s just not done enough.
