More anger over award to Rushdie

The Muslim world has very strict way of dealing with things that their peers think is offensive to the religion. And one clear message is ? No one is allowed to express one?s inner feeling or understanding of the religion in public. If a writer has said something about a religion then that is his expression why create such things like a Fatwa and ask for his execution like Iran did? Why can?t the Muslim organization do something about the terrorist activities that are exploding on their surfaces and why not issue a Fatwa against these terrorist organizations? Now Britain’s award of a knighthood to author Salman Rushdie has created uproar amongst the Muslims that it is an attempt to insult the feeling on their community. The assembly of the North West Frontier Province (NWFP) passed a resolution saying the honour was part of a move to “hurt the feelings of Muslims”. How silly things can get I do not know.
