Mario Lopez said he’s supporting Chaz Bono on the new series of Dancing With The Stars. The Extra host said he wants to see Bono, 42 – the son of singer Cher – take the trophy at the end of the show, despite the fact it hasn’t even started yet. He said to In Touch: “I’d love to see Chaz win this season. Especially with all of the drama going on, I’d love him to win.” Some critics have threatened to boycott the show because Bono, who completed a gender reassignment last year, is taking part in the new series of the show with professional dancer Lacey Schwimmer.

Even though dresses she wears sell out hours after she has worn them, experts at New York Fashion Week say Kate Middleton is not a trendsetter. The Duchess of Cambridge is just a ‘style follower’ and not a fashion icon, say fashion experts in the Big Apple. Gregg Andrews, a fashion director at leading US department store chain Nordstrom, said: “She is stylish, but she is not setting trends, she’s following trends. “If you take Kate out of the Royal Family, put her on a street in New York, you wouldn’t look at her twice. She’s a beautiful woman, but she blends into a crowd.” One leading journalist said that Middleton was the very opposite of fashionable and people only notice what she wears because of her royal status. Elle fashion news director Anne Slowey said: “Is she a style icon of the likes of a Kate Moss? Absolutely not. Is she in the public eye? Are people going to become obsessed with everything she wears regardless of what it is? Yes.” According to British newspaper the Daily Mail, Ken Downing, fashion director of department store Neiman Marcus, added: “Is she iconic at the moment? Time will tell. She’s certainly influential. In the position that she’s in you can’t be simply stunning as she is and not have influence.”
Recently single J-Lo has been spotted sharing a cosy diner with Bradley Cooper, say US reports. An onlooker was quoted as saying: “Cooper waited about ten minutes for her to arrive and she turned up wearing a white bandage dress looking ludicrously hot.” The pair were seated at a corner table and apparently spent the whole night smiling and chatting together intimately. “It looked like they were flirting heavily then they left together out of a back door,” continued the source. Reps for the Jenny From the Block singer did not comment but Cooper’s rep responded with: “They were meeting for business, regarding a project.”

Brangelina’s brood enjoyed a good, old-fashioned British day out with their grandfather Jon Voight on Saturday. While Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were off working, kids Shiloh, five, Zahara, six, and Pax, seven, hung out with Angie’s dad in Richmond Green, close to their rental home in the London suburb. “There was a cricket match on so they just stopped to have a look,” an onlooker told People magazine. “Jon explained to the children what was going on [with the game]… it was a really traditional English scene. “Then they just crossed the green and went to the ice cream van on the corner. They seemed really close and happy, and Jon’s [companion] was throwing Zahara’s teddy bear in the air and pretending to make it fly. It was all just lots of kiddie stuff and the children really seemed to be enjoying themselves.” The couple are currently splitting their time between Richmond and Scotland while Brad films World War Z. “Angelina is now doing bits of work herself, and Brad is obviously busy with his filming, [and] there are obviously times when the childcare clashes,” the source added. “So it’s a case of Grandpa to the rescue.”
